My Intention

The Making

All products are made with intention and love in my home kitchen, in Leyton, East London.

I personally formulate and carefully blend essential oils until I get the result I am looking for in every scent.  Each product has a story. 

Although I am in charge of all product making at Akasha, I'm extremely lucky to always have my loving and supporting other half Derek and loyal companion, Eddie, by my side.

My Pledge to Sustainability


Each and every component of the candle is responsibly sourced, vegan friendly and cruelty free. Everything from the essential oils, to the labels and packaging.

• Our essential oils supplier is based in the UK.  They deal only with farmers who work in harmony with nature, share our ideals of organic and sustainable agriculture and pay their employees fairly. It took me a while to find a supplier that does not compromise the purity of the ingredients and guarantees the therapeutic properties of the oil and matches my sustainability and fair trade values.

• Our soy wax is made in the UK. The wax is natural and Kosher.

• Our jars and wicks are also sourced within the UK.  We ensure that  everything we use is safe and non-toxic.

• I am a candle maker that is proud to offer a product that is consciously made from beginning to end.
